How much does auto detailing cost in Lodi?

Auto detailing in Lodi ranges from $75 for our Express Wash & Wax package to $700 for a full Premium Showroom Detail. Our most popular Full Detail (interior + exterior) runs $275 to $450 depending on vehicle size and condition. Sedans and coupes are typically at the lower end, while trucks, SUVs, and vans are at the higher end. We offer transparent pricing with no hidden fees and are always happy to provide a free custom quote.

What's the difference between a car wash and professional auto detailing?

A car wash is a quick, surface-level cleaning that typically takes 5 to 15 minutes. Auto detailing is a comprehensive, multi-step process that can take several hours and addresses every surface of your vehicle. Detailing includes hand washing, clay bar decontamination to remove embedded contaminants, machine polishing to remove swirl marks, interior deep cleaning and conditioning, and protective sealants or coatings. The results of a professional detail last weeks to months, compared to days from a typical car wash.

How long does a full detail take?

A Full Detail typically takes 3 to 5 hours depending on your vehicle's size and current condition. Our Express Wash & Wax takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. An Interior Detail or Exterior Detail each take 2 to 3 hours. Our Premium Showroom Detail, which includes paint correction and ceramic sealant, can take 6 to 8 hours for heavily neglected vehicles. We never rush the process because achieving true showroom results requires proper time and technique.

Do you offer mobile detailing in Lodi?

Yes, mobile detailing is one of our most popular services. We bring all of our professional equipment, water supply, and premium products directly to your home, office, or any convenient location in Lodi and surrounding areas. Our mobile detailing delivers the exact same quality as shop-based detailing. You can go about your day while we transform your vehicle right in your driveway or parking lot. We serve Lodi, Stockton, Galt, Elk Grove, Acampo, Woodbridge, and Lockeford.

How often should I get my car detailed?

We recommend a full detail every 3 to 4 months, or at minimum twice a year. In the Central Valley, where intense sun, agricultural dust, and road grime from Highway 99 and I-5 constantly assault your vehicle's surfaces, more frequent detailing is beneficial. Between full details, a monthly Express Wash & Wax helps maintain that showroom shine and keeps protective coatings in top condition. If your vehicle has ceramic coating, maintenance washes every 2 to 4 weeks are ideal.

What is ceramic coating and is it worth it?

Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds with your vehicle's factory paint to create a semi-permanent layer of protection. It provides exceptional UV protection, makes the paint hydrophobic (water and contaminants bead off), resists chemical stains and bird droppings, and gives your paint an incredible deep gloss. Our ceramic coatings last 1 to 3 years depending on the tier you choose. For Central Valley residents, ceramic coating is particularly worthwhile because it protects against the harsh sun and makes valley dust much easier to wash off.

Can you remove scratches from my car?

Yes, we specialize in paint correction which removes many types of paint defects. Machine polishing can remove swirl marks, light scratches, water spots, oxidation, and other surface-level imperfections. Deeper scratches that have gone through the clear coat and into the base paint may not be fully removable through polishing alone, but we can often significantly improve their appearance. We always do a thorough paint inspection before starting and will give you honest expectations about what we can achieve.

Do you detail trucks and SUVs?

Absolutely. We detail all types of vehicles including sedans, trucks, SUVs, vans, minivans, crossovers, and sports cars. Trucks and larger SUVs are priced at the higher end of our ranges due to the additional surface area and time required. We also offer specialty detailing for boats, RVs, and motorcycles. Work trucks and fleet vehicles are welcome too, and we offer fleet pricing for businesses with multiple vehicles.

Is mobile detailing as good as shop detailing?

Yes, our mobile detailing delivers the same exceptional quality as any professional shop. We carry all professional-grade equipment including our own water supply, generators if needed, professional lighting for paint inspection, and a full inventory of premium products. The key advantage of mobile detailing is convenience. You do not have to drive anywhere, wait in a lobby, or arrange for a ride home. We come to you and deliver showroom results wherever you are.

Do you offer fleet detailing?

Yes, we offer fleet detailing services for businesses of all sizes. Whether you have a handful of company cars or a fleet of work trucks, we provide volume pricing and can set up scheduled maintenance plans. Our mobile service means we come to your business location, minimizing downtime for your vehicles. We work with construction companies, real estate agencies, delivery services, and any business that wants to keep their vehicles looking professional.

What products do you use?

We exclusively use professional-grade detailing products from trusted brands in the industry. This includes pH-balanced soaps that are safe for all finishes, premium clay bars for decontamination, professional polishing compounds, high-quality carnauba waxes and paint sealants, professional ceramic coatings, and gentle yet effective interior cleaners. We never use cheap chemicals from big box stores that can damage your paint, rubber, or interior surfaces. The products we use are formulated specifically for professional detailing work.

Do I need to be home during mobile detailing?

No, you do not need to be home during your mobile detailing appointment. Many of our clients leave their vehicle accessible and go about their day. All we need is access to your vehicle and a suitable workspace in your driveway or parking area. We will text you updates and let you know when we are finished. If you prefer to be present, that is perfectly fine too. We are happy to walk you through our process and answer any questions.

How do I maintain my car between details?

Between professional details, we recommend rinsing your car weekly with clean water to remove surface dust and contaminants. Avoid automated car washes with brushes as they create swirl marks. Use a quality spray detailer or waterless wash for quick touch-ups. Park in shade when possible to reduce UV damage. For interiors, vacuum regularly and wipe down surfaces with a clean, damp microfiber cloth. If you have ceramic coating, a maintenance wash every 2 to 4 weeks will keep it performing at its best.
